Welcome!

The following offices integrate international education, global perspectives, and cross-cultural knowledge into the university’s academic programs and the community at large. In addition, we facilitate the comprehensive internationalization of the university and connect the campus to the world, enabling Boise State University students to graduate as globally competent citizens. There are many opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and community members to become involved in international education and activities at Boise State. INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM

The Intensive English Program provides students with the opportunity to improve their English language skills. Emphasis is placed on rigorous English language skills development, university preparation, and intercultural understanding and communication.

INTERNATIONAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

International Learning Opportunities (ILO) offers opportunities for students to participate in study abroad, the National Student Exchange and other international learning opportunities. Additionally, this office supports Boise State faculty with USAC teaching abroad applications, Fulbright scholars, fosters international collaboration in scholarly endeavors, and facilitates the development of international cooperative agreements.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SERVICES

I

International Student Services (ISS) provides comprehensive support services to international students as they integrate into the larger campus community and serves as the primary source of expertise regarding immigration and cross-cultural issues for the campus at-large. ISS acts as a welcoming center where international student needs can be met directly, or referred to the appropriate university or community resource.
