Jessica Rohm, Center for Global Education Hey! I’m Jessica, a USAC Ambassador and a junior here at BSU studying International Business and Spanish. Originally from Arizona, I moved to Boise and then spent the spring semester of my sophomore year in Heredia, Costa Rica. With prior education in Spanish, I knew I wanted to go abroad to experience the rich culture and language firsthand. I am excited to help you find your own program and get you started on the journey of a lifetime! Pura vida!

McKenna Strolbery, Center for Global Education

Hallo! Wie geht’s? My name is McKenna Strolberg and I’m currently a junior here at Boise State studying History Secondary Education and German. I have lived in Idaho my whole life, except for my wonderful semester abroad in Saarbrucken, Germany. I went Spring semester 2016 and now I can’t wait to go back to Europe at some point! My study abroad experience was the first time I had ever traveled abroad, plus my first solo travel experience, so it was an awesome learning opportunity. So many amazing things came out of my study abroad experience from my tremendous personal growth as I traveled and lived my solo German life to meeting and starting friendships with so many awesome international students from Germany, the Netherlands, China, Syria, Iran and so many more countries!  I was also able to visit many historic sites and cities that I had only read about and seen in my history books. Oh man, the history nerd in me was so excited by the chances to experience or even touch places that had previously only been a paragraph and photo in a history text; actual buildings from Roman times, amazing castles and the list goes on! I’m excited to share my passion for study abroad with you and see all the greatness you will achieve in your time abroad.

Emma Burke, Center for Global Education¡Hola! My name is Emma Burke and I am Junior here at Boise State with majors in Public Health and Spanish.  I am from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and I have a passion for the outdoors, travel and food! I’m a huge skier during the winter and I love spending my summer at the lake. I was lucky enough to spend my Sophomore Spring Semester abroad in San Sebastián, Spain in the Basque country and live with the most amazing host family! I have always loved new adventures, but having the opportunity to travel all around Europe really harvested a passion for travel for me and I most definitely have the travel bug now! Studying abroad was without a doubt the best decision I made in college.  I can’t wait to help to help other students find their second homes in a foreign country like I did.
